Dehradun: Congress party’s national general secretary and star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today addressed a virtual rally in Dehradun. During the virtual rally, She also launched Congress manifesto for upcoming polls in the state. In the manifesto, the grand old party Congress has made big announcements that includes providing Rs 40,000 annually to as many as five lakh families in the state. Along with this, the party has also promised to provide employment to four lakh youth of Uttarakhand. Making the announcements, Priyanka Gandhi also assured that Congress will provide health facilities to every village, every door of the hill state. The party has also said that the price of gas cylinders in the state will not exceed Rs 500.
“You’ll have to decide that development should be an issue in polls. Ask political parties, that come to talk about religion & caste, what are they saying for your development? Ask them what did they do for you in 5 years,” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said.
